In this 3rd session of the Fintech Workgroup, we’d like to present Velocity Network Foundation (VNF), a foundation with the objective to become the world’s network for verifiable and trusted career credentials, designed for the digital age.  

The Velocity Network, governed by the Velocity Network Foundation®, a non-profit member-based consortium, set out to put people back in control of their data and build a globally accessible, trustworthy ‘Internet of Careers®.’  

Etan Bernstein, one of the co-founders of the Velocity network Foundation and Head of Ecosystem development will explain to us how the Velocity network foundation works, why it is so successful and how it offers a global network of usable and verifiable career credentials. 

Rabobank is one of the early adopters of this network, enabling them to seamlessly verify credentials throughout their workforce. Robert de Lange, responsible for the HR Career Credentials within Rabobank will explain their experience as a participant in the career credentials network and how this will be implemented in their HR processes.

Also on the programme, we’d like to provide an update about the Innovation Lab from the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Paul Zeef has shared the concept in one of the previous sessions, and will now provide us with an update on the Proofs of Concept, in order to validate the data architecture models.
